Ordering, Return Policy and Guarantee

We encourage you to order our products online with a credit card. As an incentive, we will pay the shipping. If you are concerned about credit card safety please see why ordering on line is safe.

Don't worry! You can cancel your order at anytime during the order process. You won't be charged for anything until you check out and give us your credit card number. Below are the Six Easy Steps To Place An Order:

STEP 1: Shop for Products: When you find a item you want, press the "Add To Cart" button to add it to your "Shopping Cart". You will then be taken to a screen which will display all the items currently in your cart. Items may be added or deleted at any time from the screen which displays your shopping cart.
STEP 2: Add, Modify, or Delete items: To continue adding items, click the "Continue" button or us the menu at the top of the screen to navigate to your desired location. If you wish to increase the quantity of an item you have already ordered, simply adjust the the number of units in the space provided and then click the update button. You may also delete an item by changing the quantity to 0.
STEP 3: Proceed to Checkout: When you have completed your shopping, press the "Check Out" button if your viewing your shopping cart. To view your shopping cart simply click the shopping cart icon at the top left corner of the screen.
STEP 4: Tell Us How to Ship Your Order: Here is where you tell us where to ship your order. Please indicate the street address of your residence or business.
STEP 5: Tell us How to Bill Your Order: Here is where you tell us your billing address and what credit card you want your order charged to. For credit card security purposes, your billing address must match the address that your credit card statement is mailed.
STEP 6: Place Your Order: This is the last step. When you press the "Checkout" button your on-line order will be securely submitted to us. You may still cancel your order if it has not shipped by e-mailing us at sales@truktoys.com. However, once your order is sent to shipping, it cannot be cancelled.

Is it safe to order online?

Absolutely! In fact, it's statistically safer to use your credit card over the Internet than in a restaurant or department store. We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), an encryption technology that works with AOL, Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer so that only we can read your order and credit card. This technology is an industry standard and fully endorsed by all the major credit card companies. In the highly unlikely case that someone does make an unauthorized charge on a credit card because of a transaction from us, the cardholder will not be held liable.

When do I get charged?

Your credit card is not charged at the time your order is placed online, however, your credit card will be charged prior to your order being shipped.

How is my order shipped?

We ship all orders by UPS ground. Orders will typically be processed within 24 - 48 hours from the time the order was placed. A confirmation email will be sent to you confirming that your order has been processed and the date your order will be shipped on or before(if you entered an email address). Your credit card number will be billed prior to the order shipping. Standard UPS shipping normally requires 3-7 business days. Please provide a street address for all deliveries. We do not ship to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO's.

How do I know when my order has shipped?

Order confirmations are sent to you via email automatically within 48 hours of placing your order. In the email confirmation, your ship date will be specified. Your order will be shipped on or prior to that date. If your order will be delayed past the shipping date given, you will be notified via email.

What guarantees do the products have?

Order a product from TrukToys.Com and your satisfaction is guaranteed. We only sell products that are in the top of their class. Designed with quality and durability in mind. As a result, we proudly guarantee your satisfaction. If you are unhappy with your cover for any reason, TrukToys.Com will gladly refund your money within 30 days of the purchase date. For detailed information, please see our return policy under How do I return something?. In addition, each product also has a warranty from the manufacturer. Can I change my order?

Our goal is to provide the fastest possible service to its customers by carrying a full stock on all items in our inventory as well as shipping all orders within 2-3 business days of receipt. Unfortunately, accomplishing this goal makes it extremely difficult to cancel or make changes to orders. There is a good possibility that by the time you e-mail us with a change or cancellation, your package will already be on its way! If you would like to make a change or cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do everything possible to try to accommodate your needs.

How do I return something?

My Order Was Damaged in Shipping

If your order arrives with obvious damage, refuse shipment noting the damage. Notify us by e-mail and we will ship a replacement immediately. The shipper will return the merchandise to us. If you discover that your order was damaged after receiving it, simply follow the return policy below.

There Was an Error in My Order

Although it rarely happens, in the case your order arrives with an error (e.g., wrong item#, wrong color or style, etc.) notify us by e-mail. We will ship a replacement item and return package immediately in accordance with our return policy below.

Our Return Policy:

Changed your mind? No problem! Your personal satisfaction is guaranteed for all purchases. You may return any item for any reason within 30 days of receipt. All items must be in "off-the-shelf and in-the-box" condition unless damaged in shipping (see below). Items that have been drilled, bent, scratched, or otherwise damaged are no longer in saleable condition and cannot be refunded. Returning items to us is easy! Just follow these instructions:

E-mail us telling us: what you are returning, why you are returning it and when you received it.
We will then inform you on how to return them.

Additional charges or credits may be applied to your credit card as follows:

If you are returning your item due to shipping damage or our error and you are requesting an even dollar replacement, no additional charges or credits will be applied to your credit card. As security, we will hold a pre-authorization on your credit card for the amount of the replacement until we receive the return. Note: A pre-authorization is not a charge, it only gives us the right to charge.
If you are returning your item due to shipping damage or our error and you are not requesting an even dollar replacement, your credit card will be refunded the original purchase price (plus sales tax if applicable) once the return item(s) are received. No restocking fee will apply. If you wish to order an item other than an even dollar replacement, please place your order via the normal order process above.
If you are returning your item due to a change of mind or your error, your credit card will be refunded the original purchase price (plus sales tax if applicable) less a restocking fee once the return item(s) are received. The restocking fee for items sent UPS is set at 15% of the order price or $15, whichever is greater. The restocking fee for items shipped motor freight is the actual cost of the shipping. If you would like to reorder this or another item, please follow the normal order procedures above.

Access Roll-up Cover

How does the Access Roll-up Cover or LiteRider work?: Simply release the auto-latch and roll the cover to the front of your pickup. The bars and bows are attached to the cover and roll up with it. Once the cover is rolled up to the back of the cab, secure it with the quick release straps. To close the cover, simply roll it back to the tailgate, over-center the roll-up/tensioning bar into the strikes and the auto-latch holds it securely in place. For additional security, push the slide-locks into place. Then, seal the sides with your hand.
What is the difference between the Access Roll-up Cover and the LiteRider?: Both covers offer the same great rollup style design. The LiteRider is our standard model and the Access Roll-up Cover is our premium model. The Access Roll-up Cover comes with a thumb dial direct tension adjustment, super heavy duty cover, and 1 1/2" side sealing system. It is our best seller. The LiteRider has thumb dial tension adjusters, a Heavy-Duty cover and a 1" side sealing system. The material is tougher and stronger than any other cover made. However the Access cover is even stronger. The Access Roll-up Cover has been manufactured since 1988 and is "the proven truck cover that keeps working for you (tm)".
What is the ACCESS Limited Edition?: The Access Limited is the Access Roll-up Cover with all black bars, bows, and rails. For that Ultimate Custom Truck Look!
Will the Access Roll-up Cover or LiteRider keep my pickup bed dry?: Our covers are waterproof and our rails come with a closed cell gasket attached to the sides. However, your tailgate is not sealed like your doors. We suggest that you purchase the optional TrailSeal Tailgate Gasket for that. On some pickup models the stake pockets may need to be covered.
Does the Access or LiteRider Roll-up Cover increase my gas mileage?: With the Access or LiteRider in the closed position, aerodynamics is improved, which results in increased mileage and handling.
Are the Access Roll-up Cover & LiteRider Lockable?: The Access and LiteRider Roll-up Covers come with slide-locks. The optional tailgate lock is needed for additional security.
Will the Access Cover or LiteRider shrink in the cold or stretch in the heat?: Our material is Flexible at 40 below & is stretch and shrink resistant. It is tested and proven in all four seasons.
Will the Access Cover or LiteRider work with other accessories such as bed liners, bed caps, bed rails, toolboxes, and cab spoilers?: Special toolbox Access Cover models are available for late model full size pickups. The Access cover or LiteRider works easily with under the rail and spray-on bed liners. Over the rail plastic liners require you to notch the bed liner in order to clamp on the Access Cover or LiteRider. Since the covers install on the inside of the box, bed rails, bed caps, tailgate protectors and cab spoilers are a perfect match.
What size toolbox will the Access Toolbox Edition work with?: This cover will fit most 20"-21" over-the-rail style toolboxes and comes with all the features of the Access Roll-up Cover. Each kit includes a sealing header bar adaptable for most 20"-21" over-the-rail toolboxes.
How does the Access Cover or LiteRider install?: They install with clamps. A professional installer can install our covers in about 10 minutes. However, plan about 10-45 minutes at home depending on your experience and model.
Can I install my Access Cover or LiteRider?: Yes, the instructions are clear-cut. If you do need assistance, call 1-800-233-4655 between 9-5pm CST. Our customers overwhelmingly say "it was simple and easy to install".
Can I adjust the tension of the Access Cover or LiteRider?: YES, The Access Roll-up Cover comes with the new thumb dialers. Simply turn the dial with your thumb to fine-tune the cover tension. The LiteRider has clamp adjustable tension. The tension is adjusted by loosening the front bar clamp with a 9/16" wrench and moving the front bar forward or backward to adjust the tension and then tightening up the clamp again.
How long will the cover material last?: The life expectancy of the material is 7-10 years. However, how you care for the cover, will determine just how long it will last.
How long will the side hook & loop sealing system last?: It has been tested for over 10,000 cycles. That is a lot of rolling. It's simple and very reliable.
Will the Access Cover or LiteRider work with 5th Wheels?: YES. Simply roll up the cover to the front of your truck and secure it with the quick release straps.
